Another sign that Asia currently is in the forefront of innovation: Facebook Developer Garage – Singapore

What is a Facebook Developer Garage?

UnConference – the Book!
June 12, 2007

unconference book

This book is a collaborative project. It aims to pick the best minds around the word from people who have helped organize unconferences or attended one. It’s a book entirely authored on a wiki. The book welcomes your participation. Think of this book like a bee hive. Thousands of bees buzz around to make a bee hive. So is this book. The end result will be a rich, finely distilled book on unconferences.

PodCamp – The New Media Community UnConference

Library 2.0…

Library 2.0 UnConference!

It’s about social media, it’s free, it’s an UnConference….it’s Podcamp Europe!
May 28, 2007

podcamp europe

An UnConference is a concept created by Dave Winer, based on the premise that the sum total of knowledge in the audience at any given conference is much greater than that of the people on stage. UnConferences are typically free or low cost, and urge conference attendees to become participants by presenting sessions of their own and contributing to the community their own expertise.

What is PodCamp Europe? It’s an UnConference of podcasters, bloggers, and new media professionals & amateurs for two days to share, explore, challenge, and grow our abilities in new media. Learn about audio and video podcasting, blogging, photography, Second Life, Twitter, and all kinds of other new and social media tools. Whether you’re a veteran or interested in getting started, PodCamp is for YOU.
